Disloyality and Laziness was what killed Juelz Santana's career

I knew by hearing Santana's Town, Oh Boy and Dipset anthem that this dude had potential and the look of a star. He had that young fly Harlem nikka swagger about himself which gave him a following amongst young nikkas at the time. But when he released the Back Like Cooked Crack is where He started to show more of his own style and personality.

Then he released this

I remember everybody and their cousin had this. This shyt use to get heavy burn in the hoods I use to go too, Santana was even neck and neck with Wayne in terms of popularity. But when he sided with 50 was where I believe he lost alot of his stripes with his fans.

Shortly after Santana put together a crew called Skull Gang and thought he could have the success like Cam did(Jim tried to do the same with Byrd Gang) but that fell flat quick. Then he promised the Regan Era album and the only thing we got was Carbon 45 and that wasn't even the full song. Then Juelz just dissapeared and rarely put anything out. He released Lord Willin trying to piggyback off the current Trap Sound and that went in the bushes quick.

Its a shame that the spitters from that 2002-2004 class(Cassidy, Banks, Santana,) are having to result to putting out a mixtape here and there

I remember reading something a while back about when Wayne touched down he wanted to get back at Juelz and release I Cant Feel My Face as a album. Wayne even sent him vocals so Juelz can lay his. Juelz didn't do shyt with them. I'm like damn, You have the biggest rapper in the game at the time sending you material to work and You do NOTHING?

no laziness is what made his career the way it was, it has nothing to do with fif or the skull gang.

banks loyalty to fif backfired on him but he at least still has a solid loyal fanbase and still drops quality material, juelz would rather hang with gbe nikkas now.

Byrd Gang failed because Stack died and Max B got into it with Jim, nothing to do with Cam

Skull Gang failed because of laziness and the fact that all of them were trash except for Juelz, nothing to do with Cam

Only hardcore diehard dipset fans really cared about Juelz going with 50, the mainstream audience didnt care really and Juelz still had a big fanbase due to his affiliation with Wayne up until they grew tired of him not releasing shyt..

Dont put Banks in a category with them nikkas, he might not drop right when people want him to but hes put out 6 mixtapes and an album since 2009 and thats not even counting his Blue Friday shyt, Juelz has put out 1 solo mixtape since 2008.. plus Banks has proven he could be a successful mainstream solo artist but he obviously doesnt care for it
