Disney announces long awaited sequel to The Incredibles

Disney Chairman and CEO Robert A. Iger today announced that Pixar Animation Studios is developing a third big screen Cars adventure as well as a sequel to Brad Bird's 2004 superhero adventure The Incredibles. The announcement was made during a meeting of shareholders and D23 Members during the company's annual meeting today in Portland, Oregon.

I don't think it matters. Toy Story 3 took about ten years to come out as well. Many claiming it's the best of the series and it shattered records in box office.

:ohhh:Funny how they announce this a day after saying they are rereleasing Incredibles in 3D this year.

I was also one of the guys that thought Toy Story 3 wouldn't deliver. After watching I feel like Toy Story > Toy Story 3 > Toy Story 2.

Hopefully Disney can bring a strong sequel to The Incredibles. I ignored a lot of their CG movies the passed few years.

I watch The Incredibles as an adult. It was very entertaining. I'm sure sequel will be as successful of a money-grab... I mean profit-making movie for Disney.
The movie "Frozen" is a huge success. The DVD release is today. They've got to be balls deep in cash revenue.
