your watching a movie about fukking superheroes but call it childish..like i said dont go full retard.. its hard to come back
Everybody wants their superhero flicks way serious, with everybody in dark leather and angsting through the whole movie these days, breh. It's just the trend since Nolan did Batman. It's dumb as fukk though. Hopefully it'll go away in a few years once everybody realizes it.

it's a trend..for it to be a trend you'd have to actually have it in movies.. Besides batman and superman it's actually non-existant...so it aint no trend. I actually like it tho. Best Marvel movie was punisher: annihilation .

The second half of that statement invalidates the first. It's brought on by the three Batman films and Man of Steel, which poorly attempted to adapt the same tone to a character like Superman (which was really never a good idea to start with) and, arguably, Watchmen. And I assume you meant Punisher: War Zone?

no it doesn't invalidate it... it's 1 series of movies by the same guy.... not a trend...superman was awesome.

The watchmen was never for kids and the comic has the same tone.

Yes I meant war zone sorry.

Not everything has to be all light and funny... we have cartoons for that. Making it into a movie means we can add more realism to it. I doubt everything is all funny and joyous in the comics all the time... there's diff tones.

Man of Steel was only produced by Christopher Nolan, and not at all related to Nolan's trilogy aside from tone. Superman isn't really a character you should attempt to add realism to, but I guess it's just a matter of taste. I don't think movies about flying dudes with heat vision and magic hammers should be taken too seriously, but that's just me. :yeshrug:

The realism I'm talking about is related to the tone of the movie set by what's going on. The world's falling apart.. nikkaz is laughing and cracking jokes and shyt... it's cool in some movies... but let's be real now.

I stil dont understand how thor 2 was seen as anything but average needless comedy(that most of the time didnt even go over well) boring earth characters(possibly the worst earth cast out of all the marvel movies). Thor nerfed to the ground in the second installment literally swinging his hammer at his enemies compared to what he did in avengers. A villain nobody gave a fukk about throughout the entire movie. Lokis performance was on point but the movies focus wasnt even him so what does that tell you.

Even the ones I don't LOVE I still fuxwit. The stuff they are doing has never been done before. This is what we used to wish for. DC is trying to get on the bandwagon but they have been FUKCING UP. The best Batman movies to date don't count... What? Does the GL movie count? Smallville? Arrow? Unknown. Meanwhile: You KNOW Agents of SHIELD is connected. Hell even the Saturday morning cartoons have Samuel L Fury in them. Even the comics are being tweaked to fit in with Marvel Cinematic U. Even if every movie wasn't five star, they all go together in a wonderful tapestry.
