Disney Infinity vs Skylanders

Any of you guys got experience with the two?
I brought my 4 year old daughter a Disney Infinity set to introduce her to gaming with me. Now im starting to question if Sky landers would have been the better choice. Any input?

I did the same thing. Skylanders has an a huge head start on this. I wont know until I actually watch my daughter play this on Christmas though.

Yea they pretty much started this. That's why im kind of regretting it. Only thing is that my daughter is familiar with the Disney toons so she basically picked out what she wanted. Let me know your verdict on Christmas and ill do the same. we can always take it back

Do you play with him? hows the game play? Ive been reading reviews all morning and it says infinity is boring. I want to take it back, but all my daughter keeps saying is "I want elza"

Same thing I heard last year when I did swap force. Skylanders is actually a pretty fun game. Of course the hustle in by Activision to release every year, but it's a good game. The portals aren't compatible with future versions so if you buy trap team this year, the portal to place the figures on won't work for next year's game whatever it is. But all skylanders figures are compatible so you can use swap force and giants figures with trap team.

Don't mention these fukking games.. I've got 8 kids and they all ask for these type of games each year. I've got 2 copies of trap team plus figures, 2 copies of infinity 2.0 plus figures, one kid wants their own skylanders giants so another copy of that plus figures, 3 copies of Lego batman 3, a Wii u. Thats not even including shyt like just dance, walking dead, transformers and my own games. Christmas is driving me crazy

Generally, skylanders gets the most burn. If your kid has played the previous games and has figures etc, be prepared for them to finish the game by the end of January and for the figures to sit in the draw until the next game next Christmas. In my experience anyway.

Nope I don't lol...and she'll be far more familiar with Disney than skyla ders characters.

Breh was just about to buy this for my son shyt seemed status once the guy told me you have to buy them characters. I'll stick to the Lego games. Marvel has every character and it's open world.
