:francis: when she’s a tween.
I hate this new parenting while on camera trend. Sometimes you can even tell that the parents aren’t really talking to their kids, they’re talking to the camera and choosing their words carefully so they won’t get chewed out online. Idk, I just don’t like it.

I’m not even mad at her reasoning…pretty interesting observation given her age…I would just explain my reasoning for cleaning up after myself and see if I can make her bite which I’m sure I can w/o having to resort to hitting her or forcing her to see things my way…anyway this is all for views

This video is problematic.

Even if it is just a skit. Why teach a child a negative mindset. I cringed at “I don’t have time for this”

Little girl… you are 4… you have the time…

Let kids be kids

I'm glad the little girl can think for herself (although I think a parent inspired the attitude).

Now is the time to teach her about empathy and cleaning up after herself.

It wouldn't have been hard to tell her that she made the mess, and therefor, she should clean after herself.

The way she articulates herself, she seems like she can put that kind of logic together.

I dunno. All this clout chasing and not enough...I dunno....not enough something.

Exactly. This is the stage where they learn fundamental social skills… kids are naturally narcissistic at this age. You have to teach empathy, the greater good, and humility now; if you don’t, you run the risk of letting the narcissism set in.

Her expressiveness is learned… I am not so sure if it is her own logic seeing that this might be clout cap.
