My problem with these Young Thug & Migos type artists is that they're that flashy type of street shyt I don't respect. Money but no message. DITC really kept it real with the street rap while spitting jewels and keeping it gritty. Diamond , Fat Joe, Show & AG, OC, and Big L (RIP)Made/Make dope street music that had/has a message real cats can vibe with. The streets are part of hip hop, but the music is a medium to spread jewels to teach the listeners. Yes, Fat Koe has kind of sold out, but his Darkside tapes still keep it real.
I think DITC is classic NYC street rap. And AG is underrated as fukk.
