And what's even worse, is that they're gonna more than likely fall back on the growing "African Doctor" medical staff they steady importing. Now I'm gonna hit the "Don't get me wrong" on this, 'because before he bounced to go back to Medical school my doctor was an African and he was EXEMPLERY at the craft, but for every good African Doctor I've seen, I've seen atleast 2-3 very questionable ones with little to no bedside manner, dubious practices and even worse, hands hard as fukk.
I can't tell a man how to live his life up to the point I meet him, but I'm beginning to believe when they say that some of these cats were veterinarians back home, coming over to Caribbean waters with hard calloused ass hands, claiming they doctors. Had to limp right the fukk out of casualty one time I peeped and one watchd one sending a hypodermic needle directly into the toe of my co-worker and out the other side when we got sent to deal with an accident that happened to us (Pallet of blocks broke away and caught my thigh/knee, but it landed on his toe and crushed it). Homey hit the plunger and all the shyt shot clear across the room hitting a nurse. Yeah. Yardman them in trouble medically, to rhatid.

So Jamaica is saying Cuba didn't want to take the option I think Guyana is using. Signing the doctors directly to individual contracts instead of through Cuba.
But I understand Cuba's position that they should be compensated for their human resources.

The overwhelmingly mixed and non-Black upper crust of the country are indifferent because their disproportionate wealth allows them to frequent private hospitals and charter jets for premier care in the states (typically Florida). They don’t care about Black Jamaicans who make up the base of the social pyramid. There’s literally a public hospital being renovated as we speak where the projected costs ballooned by over 10 times (from $2b to $21b) , in which many believe the culprit is misappropriated funds, which is not out of the ordinary.
