Let me explain. For me, some action movies I can suspend reality (Fast and Furious 6, The Matrix, Kick As, 80's action films, some of the Resident Evil flicks). Then you have other action movies where I just can't do it (i.e. 300). When I watched "300", "G.I. Joe" I was like, "This is so fake. It's like a video game).

But logically I can say the same thing about some of action films I named. Anybody ever experience that? Not saying these films in particular. But in general, some films the actions is "fake", story so unrealistic but I enjoy it (yes, even the 1st and 3rd Transformers for me). Then others do the same thing, but you can't stand it.

that why i personally prefer blade 1 over blade 2, the fights in part 1 were on par with the type of fight scenes youd see bruce lee in, in part 2 they must have watched too much Matrix with wirework and cg being incorporated in the fight scenes. still love them both though.

All the resident evil flicks are meant to be seen as suspended reality the storys dumb as hell the movies butcher the game, but id be lying if i didnt say the fight scenes were some slick sh1t

fast n furious 1 vs 6. everything done in ff1 can be, and is duplicated in the real world every day. these dudes were racing done up civics, n doin reg street racing things. It was all believable as i've seen most of it myself wit my own eyes.

fast forward to ff6 n the chasing a tank down a highway n bs, complete nonsense now.

:what: out of all the movies you named, 300 is the most blatantly stylized and "comic bookish" as far as it's overall look. it literally looks like a live action comic book. yet that's the movie that you can't suspend your belief for? :comeon:
