Akademiks is the black equivalent of a popular gossip blogger/TMZ host.
He’s taking aim at people knowing that he isn’t connected enough the street to be in danger on that front, and is well-known enough to not be an easy target. The only people that would do him harm are crash-test dummies - because he can and will involve law enforcement immediately and shamelessly.
There’s no upside to getting at him if you actually have a career, and he’s consistently protected if you have nothing to lose.
