You mean to tell me not one house was sold on Selling Tampa :gucci:
I believe in the first season literally one house was sold. He had only watched 6 of the 8 episodes so far and a the point he'd watch not a single house had been sold. I watched the first season or two of the OG show and Envy's gripe is legit. The OG show they def would show houses and shyt. There was drama in
Why should they f up the Netflix bag and call out their Producer when DJ Envy himself regularly showcases and give a platform to worst ignorant shyt 3 hours a day? :gucci:

now he got a problem wit it and calls it "embarassing" .
I think you're missing the point. He wasn't calling out the women in the show. He was calling out the producers of the show. That's he made the comparison because both shows are made by the EXACT same people. Yet one show they actually sell houses and do real estate and the other show is mostly drama. This was not an indictment on anyone but the creators of the show.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Seriously. Tampa is a mid sized city. I doubt it has anywhere near enough sales to rival Southern California. That’s like doing a show in Kansas City. Stupid. They could’ve easily did Atlanta, Washington DC or Chicago as there’s a huge black professional class and a hot real estate market.

They already had an ATL realtors show and it was even worse than this. Luxury real estate is still heavily dominated by whites in all cities. I’m actually surprised they had an black luxury realtor office in Tampa of all places.

The realty in the show was started in 2019, it might not even be a real company like that :picard:

There’s another realtor show I’m watching which takes place in The Hamptons in Long Island, NY. They have one black realtor there who is truly professional and successful. It sucks he’s the only black guy there. A cast filled with black men and black women like him would be dope. The black actor even has a twin brother who models in Korea and can speak Korean fluently.

The name of the show is called Million Dollar Beach House on Netflix

If you 180 mins into a show about selling houses and not one sold house has been shown yet than wtf is the show actually about? :dahell:
These broads talkin bout don't compare 1 season to 4 seasons missing the entire point of his post :snoop:
I bet in one season of the white version they show multiple deals being made and closings. These chicks just reality show tour guides.
Close some damn deals :scust:
This show was gon be on my backburner to watch but it doesn't sound like its about the real estate at all. I'll stick to my HGTV folk

Envy is a knucklehead but he is right for once. I haven’t seen the Sunset version but this show definitely comes off like some Real Housewives shyt. Made it through one episode and bounced off. The whole premise is faulty. That market doesn’t even exist in Tampa, or at least isn’t extensive enough to create a fukking show around it. So it makes you wonder what it’s really a vehicle for. :mjpls:

The marker definitely exists in Tampa, they just aint selling.

They didn't turn on him. Not from what I saw anyway. They just said they did sell houses, it just wasn't shown. That was also Envy's point. He assumes they sold houses but the producers didn't show that.

They should pull up on the breakfast club and talk it out.
