The money from all state lotteries combined collected is 25% more than all the corporate income tax collected by all the states in America. Just think about that. Americans give away over $70 billion dollars annually for a thrice in a lifetime chance to win $1 billion dollars and the promise that the majority of that money will only used to fund education which they don't.

I been to Portugal where all drugs are decriminalized. Guess what? They have less of an addiction problem than we do. Actually one of the best in the world.
