He's right but it's sad that talking about artists that are actually relevant is the only way Premo's making headlines in 2013.

Let this be a lesson to other producers that this is what happens when you don't evolve musically :usure:

Mos ain't a simple lyricist at all, the Blakstar album alone his lyrics on that are crazy and shyts on a lot of people's discographys.

Lol the Em verse was wack to me, talking about rape, and killing kolwalas and shyt lol. People get impressed by the simplest shyt, it's a lot easy to flow when you ain't saying shyt, the art is saying something and sounding dope.

EM's rhymes were childish to me, reading them now and I don't see anything dope there at all, it's random rhyming words thrown together sloppily.

Black Thought's verse was recycled too. How can a n1gga get tge W for spitting an album verse:mindblown:

:
Black Thought spit that cypher verse way before the album came out.

So it's fair game

If anything u should be saying his cypher verse was so good he recycled it for his album

i'm telling you dudes...mc's do not want it with black thought on some spontaneous drop some heat that makes sense and actually says something.

anyone can drop some cat / rat...ball / fall...down / frown... elementary rhymes and keep cadence to a beat. some cats that talk about hip hop trip me out. it's like dudes can hear, but they don't listen.

that's not to knock em or mos, because they have some heat in their own right and they stay in their lane. but no diss to either, they're just not as well rounded mc wise as bt. i don't stan for hardly any rapper, but bt is one of them dudes for me when it comes to straight up hip hop.

i wouldn't. that's not the brand of hip hop bt does.

just like em couldn't make virtually any song on a roots album and sound authentic doing it. :manny:

i think he can, unless it's some pro black shyt that he can't really relate to.

the subject matter on Til I Collapse, Lose Yourself, and Renegade match the Roots brand to me and are all well executed songs by Marshall.
