Last year Quik was here for a show and had a lil meet and greet before. I asked him to post a version of I Like It since the only time we heard it was at one of those Summer Jam type shows when El DeBarge performed it with Quik.

Dude kinda brushed it off when I asked but then he said it wouldn’t be hard for him to remake. So just getting this instrumental is a good look. Shouldn’t be hard to get the acapella and stitch the rest together

Dude is sitting on a lot of stuff. The raw files he must have from his days of mixing AEOM are valuable alone. But I already know he has heat with James and El DeBarge, some Suga Free outtakes, maybe a couple of stray Mausberg verses and some leftovers from 2nd II None and AMG
