There's a couple of joints I liked off it but to be honest, I completely forgot about everything but 'Black Mercedes' until you mentioned it. That is entirely by accident as it came up in a Nate Dogg mix.

Wasn't even a bad album but it wasn't a good year to drop an average album. Same year Documentary came out...Late Registration....Carter 2

i liked it though i get why many people are turned off by it
this was the beginnin' of a new era for quik and to be honest, the end of the quik was we knew him of the 90's ended with that unda tha influence album
with trauma quik updated himself and never really looked back, which for his sake was a good thing because it showed he could change with the times but still be quik
however, it's never been quite the same since 98' or really 2000 with balance and options with him
but i still fukked with trauma.
it was a departure from the old quik we knew but i liked the new tricks he pulled out on trauma and i thought the production was ahead of it's time
it didn't sound like anythin' out durin' that time or anythin' that's come out since it's release

it has gems..but quik was too busy being a dork...i remember every interview leading up to this album..he kept talkin about cats usin protools n fruity loops and how he got new mics and new instruments and other gadgets and how he's going to take it back to analog...

this was quik experimenting with new everything while keep it nostalgic

wha he did to his version of spur of the moment..:gladbron:

he gave the chi a new stepping anthem with get back

wyclef should have never made this album :russ:

atleast he gave us the house of blues live album afterwards:shaq: to make up for trauma...

yeah, and you could tell he was feelin' himself with trauma, even down the jodeci instrumental
my cousin was a quik fan but not as big of a fan of his like me and ironically it was that trauma mixtape of all the quik releases that really clicked for him with quik music
he kept that mixtape in his cd player in his car that summer it got released. come to think of it, i never got that shyt back and had to make another lol
but me and my nikkas would always get into it. i'd be sayin' "quik is that nikka". all my nikkas was either sayin' timbaland, dr. dre, rza, or mannie fresh

Wasn't his best work, but it was a decent album.

I had the instrumentals on promo vinyl back then. I used to spin that all the time.

i need to see if i can still get that instrumental album. i wish i would've bought it when he 1st put it out

i remember hearin' some shyt that he didn't even turn this album to be reviewed for the source because he was on some "fukk it, whatever" type shyt lol

Better than Midnight life

The other Midnight Life (the fixxers) is kinda better but it sounds very crunk

What's funny is, I got the instrumentals before I even saw the actual album. It was weird. Next thing I know, the album dropped. I didn't see a lot of promo for it, it definitely felt like he just threw it out there for the people to vibe to.

i had a bootleg of the album 1st and then i bought the album
and i remember him droppin' the instrumental shyt but i never did buy it for whatever reason
it was hardly any promotion for it all. in fact, i don't remember any for it
