It's hard to put into words the feeling you get when listening to a Rod Temperton penned track. I'm a sucker for a well written song. Rod definitely delivered stunners for years and when Quincy Jones was brought into the matrix we got nothing less than magic! Between Heatwave and the many songs written for James, Ingram, Michael Jackson, Patti Austin and beyond, I realize that he's one of the main reasons I love modern day R&B music so much.
