When at odds with fellow rappers, newer rappers have been escalating situations to the next level by mentioning deceased members of crews that they are at odds with. Troy Ave recently made a diss record speaking on the late Capital STEEZ of Pro Era when dissing Joey Badass, and now DMV rapper OG Man Man has followed suit with a new video.

In the video, OG ManMan filmed a video for the dis record "Truth" at a rival's grave site. The rapper can also be seen pouring out a bottle of champagne while rapping about putting the rest of the rival crew members in the ground alongside the current grave site for an unspecified rival crew member who Man Man mentions in the song.

Now, news has surfaced that OG ManMan was murdered last night after dropping the video for "Truth." According to an alert sent out by the DC Police Department, a shooting occurred last night in Southeast D.C. on the 4400 block of F Street. There is no clear indicator as to if OG Man Man's murder was a direct response to his record.

We all know these boys are lost, but I can't help but feel like these dudes exhibit a level of selfishness with their lifestyle. Like, the shyt they are doing is not only putting themselves in danger but putting they mom, dad, cousins, they whole family in danger. I know one former street dude who said he stopped that life because he had a dream that his mom was crying real bad at his funeral after he got killed in the streets. He said it really pained him to watch his mom like that in his dream. I wish more street dudes would think this way.
