And I wouldn't really classify it as the hood.
There's some bad areas here and there, but that's everywhere.

There’s definitely some hoods out there. PG is very diverse economically. Some poor areas. Some middle class. Some rich. Some country. Well actually all those nikkas are country to me

When you start getting towards the Soufeast line, it gets a little questionable.
Oxon Hill, Marlow Heights.
Squares would probably consider other parts like Landover, Capitol Heights, etc as "the hood" too.

Parts of it are. And other parts are real nice.
Then there are the suburban parts where all the kids from good homes want to act out and be street. They usually try to claim they were born in DC but their parents moved to PG when they were young. These are many of the types I went to college with down here.

Affluent county with a sizable portion of clout chasing fashionable degenerates. Not to say there isn't hood portions but some people who live in nice/decent communities want to make it worse than what it actually is with their mentality.

Not hardly but there are parts here and there. I lived in a complex that caught 3 bodies while I lived there but a mile up the road is $3500 a month apartments with an all new shopping center.
