On the contrary most are, but it really doesn't make a difference as environment they're raised in has little to no effect on how they perform in a pit. You kinda want your dog to have a strong bond with you so any form of ill treatment achieves the opposite.

 You can't raise them to be more vicious than a pet dog, they're pets[with lots of money invested in them], they're just bred to fight, just like thoroughbreds are bred to run. Unless you're raising them to be more vicious to humans; that would just make you an a$$hole and cost you money as no one wants to be in the pit with a biter.
Then why do they attack each other when the dogs at my neighborhoods little pet park just want to sniff each other's asses and run around together? Why are you even trying to paint some slave type blood sport as some fun activity, they didn't ask to be fighting.

Sounds like the owner is either retarded, or didn't do any research on the dog they got. Dogs that are bred for fighting aren't gonna socialize with other dogs. I've seen 8 week old litters that had to be separated because all they want to do is fight. So if he got a dog from a litter that was bred for fighting then good luck with ever getting that dog to socialize. It's like people that take home ill treated pits from shelters without knowing their pasts then leave them home alone with their kids :snoop:

I'm not trying to paint anything. I love dogs, just trying to clear up any misconceptions you may have about dog fighting

I'd rather take a dog to a trainer then let it stay some maladjusted demon  (I don't have kids though)
what does "bred" for fighting mean?
Is it like generational emotional manipulation for stronger breeds or is it just the breeding of a mix of a few dogs dogs who naturally have an aggressive temperament?

I don't fight dogs nor do I condone dog fighting, but the ill informed posts about what an actual dog fight encompasses annoys me.

You can't "make" them fight, nor do they "kill" each other.

Dog fighting is also a huge sport in many countries.
Lol. Uh what? Do you know what dog fighting entails?

Yes they do make them fight. And yea dogs do kill each other some of the time. They breed the dogs to be mean and then they basically force them to fight. Dog fighting is brutal. Human trafficking and raping little girls is big business in other countries. That doesn't mean its not immoral.

Imo there is nothing wrong with dog fighting. Dogs are property and you can do what you want with your property. But please don't try to act like the dogs are living fun and well adjusted lifestyles cuz they're not. Those dogs aren't happy.

It's all about bloodline/lineage which goes back hundreds of years. APBTs are bred for their "gameness" which is basically their determination to keep going regardless of injury or threat of injury or pain to themselves. A full grown game dog doesn't socialize with other dogs. Though as pups they'll socialize with their siblings for a bit, but then they have to be separated. Some as early as a few weeks, others take a few months before the aggression towards other dogs kicks in. It's in their blood. You don't have to do anything or force them to fight, it's just something they want to do. Anyone that tells you that you have to force game APBTs to fight[like this nikka below] is an idiot.

:rudy: Here goes another one. Of course it's brutal, they're trying to tear each other apart, where did I say it was all daisies and roses :comeon: And yes sometimes dogs die form their injuries, but it's not a fight to the death. Once a dog quits or refuses to scratch the fight is stopped. Both dogs have to be willing to fight for a fight to continue.

Again, you don't stick a dog in a ring and force it to fight. You'd just lose your money really fast.
