I wasn't a fan of a sea of white people yelling out "my nikkas" one of the main reasons I don't talk about this much. I live X but I got a level of respect for Chamillionaire above all else. He said he would look back in the crowd and see the white people singing along to EVERY word and it made him sick. He recorded his second album with

"no nikkas" literally. He stopped using the word in his music which arguably cost him his career. People will argue that its because his 2nd album wasn't good but his 2nd album wasn't market because he did we always talked about on this site... stop using the word. Dude was willing to sacrifice his career and ill always appreciate that shyt.
But back to X. This definitely is one of the best performances ever. The crowd wasn't just there because he was performing (theres a bunch of stages if I think with different performances going on or something) they were literally there to see X and knew every single word. Also One of the rare occasions where he performed Damien. No rapper can perform like DMX he doesn't get his props as the greatest.
When I seen him live in 2017 he was cooking. He had just got out of the hospital lIke a few months prior due to an overdose type situation or something, I had never seen him live and I thought to myself if I dont go now I might never get to see my favorite rapper. I was scared that it would be a bad performance. He also had a slew of interviews out where he was visibly high and his voice was extra slurred, gravely and high pitched, almost like he was talking in the Damien voice (if you follow x you know what I mean) and I hated to see him like that. I thought this is who im going to see perform tonight.... MAN WAS I fukkING WRONG. He came out with a sober vibe sounding as close to old X as he possibly could. Ran through his standard set. Talked inbetween songs, he wasn't quite preaching but he was saying some prolific shyt, dropping gems. Crowd participation on 1000 and he showed up on time.
One of the highlights was dropping down to do 50 push-ups then jumping up and yelling out "where's the fukkin hood at?!?" Thrn went right into where the hood at. Mond you this man had asthma. Him busting into tears while rapping "i wanna make records but im fukking it up" during slippin still gives me chills. Hardest shyt I've ever seen.
Sorry for going off on a random ass tangent just showing love to the GOAT
