does anyone else feel like this genre of rap is dying again... it got its rise on the smack DVDs... then waned off... then sparked back up with the KDOT joints... then smack came back
but damn... if it isn't the GREATS... i don't even care anymore... just another 45 mins of the same old gun bars, shyt thrown in that happened to the guy 5 years ago, and random disses to other random battle nikkas who are or are not there that day... and 95% of them got the same ass flow... to the point they are getting parodied weekly on some "battle rappers sound like....."
and there's 30 leagues and 155 rappers... it's like they diluting it down to where nikkas don't even care anymore
smack needs to screen this shyt out a little better.... there's really only like 5-6 battlers i actually want to hear something from... mainly because they come with a whole different flow and subject matter

Chess has very high potential...watched another battle of his and saw he's 16. He's rough around a lot of edges but the foundation for a great battler is ALL there. I'll be checking for him in the future.
