I hear a lot of Euro-worship on these forums...but a lot of core principles don't really seem to filter down to the basic discussions about civil liberties and human rights

I've been saying this.Parliamentary system seems better than our two-party/one-party nonsense.
A parliament provides more political choices and diversity than our current congressional model.
Though, without completely overhauling our system of government, things like Rank Choice voting can help rid of the duopoly of political parties in our country.
