Do any of ya fukk with custom emulator roms?

i started fukkin with emulators again
so i was playin f-zero for the snes
and i remembered all the back and forth i had with friends back in the day
so i looked into if anybody made a split screen version of the game
i seen some1 had started some type of mp in 2009 but never finished
any of ya know how to fukk with shyt like that??
