Timothy 1, Chapter 5 Verse 8:

But if any provide not for his own,and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

People have been picking and choosing verses for centuries. Trying to follow in the teachings of Jesus is hard but doable when you put your faith in Him. I could understand trying to be a good father with slips every once in awhile but, even for that you have to be in the kids life.

whats ur point? theres a million things practical or reasonable things in the bible that motherfukkers pick and choose on every day, sprinkled in with magical bullshyt and barbaric cruelty. 'take care of your fukkin kids' isnt some deep topic of discussion
