Do anybody else have siblings that compare you to other siblings?

So I'm having dinner with my dad, who's a egomaniac, he's talking shyt like usual, and I'm trying to block him out.

This nikka bragging about my bougie as cousin that moved to Cali. Even tho her parents funded her everything for her. And she got a good job. And he's telling me how I should connect her and network with her.

Im thinking to myself, man this bytch probably sucked every dikk and licked every a$$hole in that office. I'm not stupid, I know goes in the dark at these big companies, she didn't just get a good job with no experience in southern California without paying a price.

And her parents gave her the support to do that. Me on the other hand had to build my own shyt by myself. I had to figure it out alone, so how is it fair to compare our progress? The answer is simple, it isn't

I love my dad but he's arrogant and a narcissist. He true to rewrite his past now that he's old, as this noble hardworking dude, when he was a street nikka, running through bytches, pimping, hustling.

That's why I always say, most old nikkas r full of shyt man, all those nikkas did back in the day was get high, suck and fukk....those nikkas didn't stand on any type of moral principles

Just my mama. My friends or cousins going off having kids/relationship/marriage and she always wants me to do whatever they do shyts mad annoying b. Keep in mind my bro n sis have kids my bro has 5 n my sis has one but they not in the best place financial wise.

When I was down (well as down as I've ever been) my mom try to do this with my younger cousin, cause she wanted me to go back to school.

"You need to go back to school, ________ just graduated and he got a engineering job paying 60k a year, and in 5-10 years he'll be making 100k+"

I told her "Mom I made 100k when I was 18 and decided it wasn't enough money, leave me alone"

My family try to compare me to my cousin because he's 25 while I'm 28 yet he got a business, a house (as in a mortgage) and making hella bread. They smooth right over the fact he got arrested two times in the last two years for stealing money from customers and done moved states twice because he took money from customers and bounced but hey I'm not hating Just don't compare me to somebody doing dirt when I'm trying to build my life legit. You search his name and scam report pops up on the first page.

It's true that most oldheads didnt build anything. A few did but they are in the minority. It's pretty shameful in my opinion. There's no way my son or daughter is gonna have to go to a white man for a job like most of us had to. But a lot of dudes on here don't get what setting things up for the next generation(s) is, or understand why it's important, so they think just working the same job for 50 years and partying and flossing, and not starting a single business is normal and will get mad at anyone who says they're doing things differently.
