There is a lot of responsibility in doing the right thing. Too much for many. Its easier to believe there are no consequences in this life then it is to believe there are and force yourself to be perfect and pray for forgiveness when you faulter.

and to answer your question, absolutely not. No Atheist believes in hell, so its really not scary. I find it interesting though that you have "no problem" with people suffering for an eternity in a "lake of fire".

I constantly tell people that they are not "christians" because they love God, but they do it just because they fear going to hell, which is why they dont even try to put an effort to stop doing bad shyt(sins.)
