I would say the Caribbean Hispanics mingle with blacks more so than Mexicans and South Americans

It depends. Some Hispanics can be disrespectful ( morning heights Hispanics), while some are cool with us ( Astoria Hispanics). As a nationality, Puerto Ricans seem more open than Dominicans.

Some of my closest friends are Hispanics. Majority of the hoods in NYC are heavily populated with both Blacks & Hispanics. However, some of the Dominicans in Washington Heights do be on their in my experience.

depends where you are. Hispanics and Blacks live on top of each other with no problems in the BX but Dominicans are a bit more segregated in the Heights and Kingsbridge.
