Do I need more than 16 gigs of ram for ANYTHING in the next five years?

and 16 should be fine for now, but EA seems to be the company that pushes the envelope as far as requirements go for PC games. When EA starts to make 16 GB recommended specs, then its time to upgrade. They'll be 1st to make it standard (why -- I have no idea, just seems over the past 15 years, EA seems to have higher recommended specs on average than other companies and then other companies follow after -- only on this particular subject though)

Get the maximum amount of RAM you feel comfortable in getting, pricing wise.

32GB would be a sweet spot.

if 16GB is too much for your prebuilt just buy a console :mjlol:

want the pc gamer label while half-assing it :mjlol::mjlol:
