I mean, most do. I think most of them that have experienced an actual decent kb, simply install it for their phones. That default iPhone one is absolute trash. And don't get me started on voice controls through Siri. It's incredible how awful that shyt is. Damn near useless, especially for directions/mapping. That thing won't EVER get the street names you say right. shyt is crazy.

But yeah gboard is much better than the ios keyboard.

I've been begging android to give me a reason to switch to iPhone
I would occasionally try an iPhone to see if it's finally time to make the switch. Had the 14 pro a couple months ago and thought it was time. But the Gboard kept switching back to iOS default, I couldn't download apps. And couldn't download Samsung internet (understandable)
And why the hell can't safari have a home page?
I'm not even asking for complicated shyt. If apple stopped forcing their consumer to confine themselves to iOS and iOS only, then I would permanently switch. Getting a bit tired of Samsung

iPhone has had Google keyboard for like 10yrs. Wtf are we talking about? iOS keyboard is good enough on its own and has been for some years.
