Do legendary acts get an “honorary classic” claim for their first album?
Question to the floor…. There are several “legendary artists” that exist but do not have a classic imo… but do you think a “legendary artists” first album gets default classic status because it kicked off a career for the artist?
For examples… imo Kool G Rap, Method Man, Busta Rhymes, Ja Rule, Rick Ross, Wale, Drake… to give one of every “era”… do their first albums get “honorary classic” tagged because they went on to become legendary artists?
