Do lower income people need credit cards?

I mean lower income as in under 40k.

My money is bad right now and these credit cards are killing me, I pay 250 a month.

I'm wondering if I can just let them default, fukk em.

I have a car that I credited, credit score is pretty good

But my income is pretty bad

So outside of a place and a car do I really need credit?

And it's gonna take a while for my money to get right

I need new training in a new field, or a business idea and that's gonna take at least 2 years probably.

So I'm saying I'm probably gonna be down in the gutter for a while, can I just let this shyt sink?

NO. you have your car if you can make payments on time, that should be enough to maintain a decent score while you ride out your rough patch. DO NOT DEFAULT!!!..

Hearing aids I had to charge on carecredit smh 1500
and I transferred my discover to chase slate 1200
and my amazon visa is only 600

It's all no interest for 18 months, I'm trying to pay it off but I'm not making shyt right now and getting depressed as fukk.

Probably not the best idea to take financial advice from a web forum, but I would stay away from credit cards unless you are extremely financially prudent.

If you can't pay for it in cash, then you save up until you are able to do so. It's better to be debt free in the long run and it won't hurt your creditworthiness - defaulting will.

Also, you can easily make that up this holiday season. If you got extra time on your hand, lots of places hire holiday help, You could make at least half of that if not more before the end of the year if you get out there and hustle.

Carecredit is a medical credit card for dentist/hearing aids all that shyt.

YEA, DO NOT DEFAULT. It will fukk up your credit score.

Cut then shyts up and just pay em what you owe up, as long as you keep making at least the minimum payment you're fine.
