What made you think that? If you don't clean your face after you shave you get bumps, period. Use alcohol or witch hazel after you shave.

Razor bumps come from having curly hair that curls back in on itself and the cleaning thing @Chill mentioned. I use an electric razor now, though. Or I don't really shave at all. It has taken me years to get a proper beard don't wanna ruin it.

I thought razor bumps came from in grown hairs. Cuz nappy hair curls quick and causes ingrown hairs.

Nah that's usually from bacterial infections. As long as you sanitize after you shave your good.

Yeah. I'd also recommend using witch hazel instead of alcohol down there so it don't burn.

To get a beard that wasn't patchy, yeah. Now once my mustache catches up, I can look like a real adult. If I shave it takes me a few weeks to grow it back. That itch is also one of the reasons I avoid shaving. That shyt is near unbearable.
