and if they do how crazy is that !? the Clippers have been the most thrash franchise through most our lives while the Lakers have been the premiere franchise along with Boston. But the Clips have made the playoffs a soon to be 5 straight years while the Lakers havent made the playoffs in 3 years and the last time they made it they got swept in the 1st round.

I was actually just thinking about this tonight

First of all, where does the Clippers fanbase even come from? Were any of these people supporting them during the Micheal Olowakandi days?

Second of all, are fanbases out there geographically split up like in NYC or Chicago with the Cubs/Sox?

Personally, I think young people still flock to the Lakers. They're a brand known in every household. They have the legends,rings,titles, sex appeal.
