you're being simple minded about my words. i said overly optimistic people are a problem. that means i have a problem with people who are too optimistic, those who apply optimism to situations where they aren't needed, and those who, instead of taking a critical approach to situations, rather be ever hopefully and ignore the present state of affairs therefore delivering a mixed message of hope for the future instead of focusing on what present problems exist...
