There's people out there who have been holding on to these dreams thinking school alone is goin to get them this success. Even with a college degree 95% of these people will live regular lives with regular people but they reject regular people thinking they're future is about to be lit.

Realism is just an excuse to not pursue.

I only see it as bad when they aren't working towards that goal. Like that one homie who talks about how big he's gonna make it doing whatever he does but instead of at least working and practicing and studying they are chasing hoes or chillin.

There are goals and then there are stretch goals. If you have ever been in sales, the military, or the corporate world you know that there are things called 'stretch goals'. It's a goal that's meant to stretch you. It's doesn't mean that you will necessarily achieve them or not but if you set the bar too low then that's all you are going to expect for yourself. For instance if your goal is to make 50k in 2016 and you make it, then you made your target. But if you stretched that out to 100k, lets say you don't make it but made 75k. That stretched goal made you push harder than the 50k goal.

I'm still dreaming of being the Lakers/Raiders owner...

Nothing wrong with dreaming
I have those same dreams I dream of owning the Saints, bring an LSU booster, owning the Atlanta Hawks but there's people out there who act like they're already there and that rubs people the wrong way.
