It takes a special kind of person to engage in this kind of bs.
Do I personally believe in it no. Living in Texas growing up I had no Idea why nikkas were hyping up yellas and redbones. Ive always seen it like this if you ugly you ugly. It dont matter what shade of black you are if you look good you look good.
But sadly to say there are alot of black men out there that will purposely go out of their way to not talk to dark skinned black women which confuses the shyt outta me.

its definitely some color struck mafukas out there,ive seen some ugly chicks get hyped for having "good hair" or bein redbones
...darkskin and lightskin have they little rivalry but its usually on some friendly shyt where jokes get made....ive only seen a few people get "tormented" and normally its a person with darkskin,and I put tormented in quotes becuz it was jokes that other darkskin people would've laughed off and came back with some other shyt,but in those instances you could tell these particular darkskin folks got they feelins hurt by it and it shoulda been left alone. But skin jokes,hair jokes,its normally not meant maliciously to scar people,and its weird that it even could to ME,but everybody aint the same

Nah, people can be evil with that shyt. It's not "let's tease him playfully" it's mean-spirited bullying someone based on skin. Some light dudes get shyt, but super dark gets it worse.
