Do people share too much personal info on here?

Am I the only one who thinks that. People talk to each other on here sometimes mentioning real personal stuff (relationship problems, job problems etc...)

Isn't that stuff for your actual real friends?

Yeah, that's how I feel. I mean it's cool to get a little tip here or there, but there is a sticky'd thread about dude getting a divorce and his sexual problems with his wife.

I`m not going that far into detail about anything on here. But I guess it's like free E-therapy sessions

It's easier to discuss things like this anonymously, especially for a man - there's the whole respect/not wanting to come off as a lame to your friends thing.

Yeah way too much info. What makes it worse is that people will take that one thing you share about yourself on here and use it as ammo on you forever. Plus the dudes on here who act like they have surveillance cameras of you, following you around everywhere you go. You can clearly be joking about something and people will think you're serious and follow you around on here using what you said as ammo even when it's not true.

But at the end of the day since it's just a forum, they are irrelevant I guess. You can x out some losers on here. You can't x out people you talk to in real life though.

See to me, that makes you even bigger a lame.

Me and my friends talk about whatever, we're not trying to front in front of eachother, we been through way much shyt together to try and play it cool.

It's great to have good friends.

Not everybody has so many friends, though.
And as stated earlier, a perspective from an anonymous or partially anonymous person can be good, not because of the lameness factor, but because people completely outside a situation will have differing views than someone who you have a history with or is practically always on your side. More perspectives, to me, equals clearer picture.

There is a point there, but to me you can keep that to a minimum.

Like I agree some little advice can be cool, but i`m more of talking about the shyt when people know your family business and things about your wife and children.
