Do people share too much personal info on here?

Am I the only one who thinks that. People talk to each other on here sometimes mentioning real personal stuff (relationship problems, job problems etc...)

Isn't that stuff for your actual real friends?

But like someone else said, its good to hear advice from someone who is out of your usual circle. From that vantage point they can provide objective advice that your friends/family can't provide bc they are too close and emotionally invested.

You can spill your guts on here and still walk past another coli poster in the street without recognizing each other

I dont think so... I in fact encourage the personal stories.

I sometimes have questions and problems in my life that people tend to give me the answer, I want to hear, versus the answer I need to hear. I then login to The-Coli and see stories about girlfriends, making money, job status,etc and a million other topics that resemble what has been going on in my life.

I literally walk in like...

And leave like...

And when I encounter similar situations I know a little more about how to manuivear and navigate through those scenarios. What better way to learn then through other peoples mistakes and triumphs?

What can I say The-Coli is my enlightened therapy
