Do political debates, Panels and public community discussions still serve a purpose in 2019?

Every time I see these debates and panels all I see is Just another generation of black folks screaming on a stage saying the same shyt the last couple generations said.. it’s sad at this point. I was all about this shyt like 15 years ago.. I’m good now

If I see a panel full of rappers, social-media "influencers", and athletes I know it's going to be a waste of time.

I don't know why we can't dig-up a solid group of black mayors/governor's, PHD's, and economists to participate in these discussions...it's always a bunch of negroes wearing fitted-caps using multi-syllabic words that they don't even know the full meaning of trying to tell me 'what we needs to do' as a community.
