Deflef was my boy and one of my favorite players of all time. Dude had moves, ball handling skills, playmaking skills and was a very good defender. He always guarded SFs no matter if it was Pippen or Glen Rice. Didn't matter he guarded them.

They actually move similar. Klay was a better shooter and had a quicker release. Detlef had a slower release but was a much better ball handler and passer than klay. Detlef was also taller at 6-9 or 6-10 I believe.

Yep you are right about all of that. Even back then detlef said that the reason his game was so refined and his defense was so tough was because he grew up in the states playing ball.
