If I'm getting to know a woman, I'd much rather call than text. If I'm going to have any in-depth conversation, then I'd rather call than text. You can accomplish the same thing in a 10 minute phone convo as you can in an hour of texting.

However I mostly text now, because I already have a live-in girlfriend, and I don't be in the mood to actually have a whole conversation with anyone. Texting is perfect for setting up get-togethers, or just quickly sharing information about something.
