You misunderstood the very first line of my sentence, stop. Read it again slowly, and try not to be so thirsty with the reply. To help you out, everything you perceived from my post, is inaccurate, now, try again but this time take your time.
ok i re-read it. You think Em is the GOAT :mjlol:? Nothing further to discuss with you

lmao pac ras kas nas eminem big l big punisher etc

Pac was LYRICAL to you? Never listened to ras kas. Will check it out. Nas was a poet. Havent heard bars in the way I’m thinking from him but he definitely has a way to put words together and make them flow and tells stories. Eminem shock value. But still counts i’ll take it. Big L I’ll take as well, as well as Big pun. But you made your point i’m not gonna act blind these are for the most part legit names. I still really dont think lyricism is down. I think people just look for the wrong people for lyrics these days.

Ok now name 5 more since that generation was so gifted in the bars department according to yall on here.
Oh I wasn't throwing P out there as an example, I was just laughing at the question.
I see you got a narrow definition of bars though, but even in spite of that, you already acknowledged most of the rappers other people have named.

But like I said maybe im tripping. Im just trying to be as objective as I can. But I could very well be mistaken, I dont claim to know it all. Just an opinion.
I appreciate this breh. Very few people on here will admit when they lack knowledge on a subject. :psalute:

He was born in 93-94, I wouldn't expect him have any knowledge of the 90s.

Yes when I think of it I think more so on the punchline type of bars not the poetry type but yes a lot of names mentioned proved me wrong lol

Kurupt was the kingpin (:prodigylol2: ) at putting intricate words together breh.

You're sleeping on Wu. Meth. GZA. Rae. Ghost. Deck. You want me to start posting verses?
How familiar are you with their catalogs?

Not gonna lie I tried listening to 36 chambers and just couldnt get into it. I really tried. Then I tried meth’s first album and couldnt do it. Then cuban link and then realized I might be too young. Gonna try ghostface soon and see how that goes. Im just a youngin yall. Bare with me. But dont sleep on the new generation. These guys are putting words together in the most polished ways at times.

I could see how that style of production could be pretty jarring for someone your age. Your ears aren't gonna be used to something that dirty.
Let me know what you think of this
