I sort of raised my little brother, but I don't think it factored into my decision to have children. I've just never liked them.

When I mean oldest sibling, I'm talking about someone who was forced into the role of being the mother/father/guardian/etc?
I'm the oldest of all my siblings from a not so stable home. I have 2 younger siblings that I've spent the majority of my life raising from childhood, to my teenage years, to early adult hood. Hell I still help support my sister through college. When I see my peers have kids, the only thing I can think of is "I've already done that."
I've considered the family life, but I just don't think I could ever do it. I have nothing to give anymore. That kind of responsibility at a young age takes a toll.
I'm not complaining. That's just the reality of the way things were. I'm just curious if my Coli fam can relate?
to you my friend!!Maybe they just don't want kids. How old are you?
People that say they don't want kids are weird to me, they usually fall into two categories they say they don't want none but end up having some, or are people who can't have none cause of medical (both mental and physical) reasons, they usually end up as really bitter old people
Big sign of unstable mental health is women who say they don't want kids.
