Do women become fat after marriage?

My mother told me that most women become fat after marriage. Like they may look good all of their look like really really attractive in high school and in college but a year or two after marriage and everyone becomes chubby. This is one factor for me to really change my view on marriage.

A lot of women do gain considerable weight after marriage. Combo of factors tho.
Pregnancy, complacency and metabolism slowing down all come into play.
A lot of men gain weight, too. Father time has a great record.

If they don't care enough to stay in shape for themselves or they don't care enough about their husbands opinion to keep themselves in shape then yes they do.

ehhhhh. I would say genetics. I'm still a size 4-6 after marriage and a kid. my mom is very slim and so is my grandma. I also eat like a cow and I don't exactly try hard enough to work out.
