Do Yall Cuss Outside the Internet alot?

I'm dangerously curious, because like on here I have a sailor mouth, but outside the webs I barely utter curse words only when I'm extremely mad (which even then I keep a spiritual marsupial tongue around the family).

There was a time when I used to just let it fly in my young adult years, but growing up as a Joey, I would try my hardest to not curse especially in front of my moms

My wife she's not much of a cursing person. When she was younger, it was weird as all hell. I remember when we first talked and she went "so what you want to talk about motherfukker"

At 15 in human years, I'm like "cut that out now. That's not how people curse".

Even when I did it as a youngin, it just felt forced. Like I was trying to get brownie points, when it was straight up goofy.

Yes. I'm very crass and when I had to speak to HS Seniors recently at an artist talk in DC I almost slipped upbut they listen to Sexxy Red so I really don't care after my 4th slip up. Not saying I said the expletives....but I subconsciously didn't feel remorse

Unfortunately.
"fukkin" and "shyts" so part of my daily vernacular, you'd wonder if I grew up in seedy places of vice and squalor.
But the same way I know how to write/speak like I'm educated and not all the way ignorant, I know when and how to turn it off when speaking to and around certain folk.​

Trying to stop a woman from cursing has been a unwinnable battle in my experience

She be mad at something completely different and just because you said "not so loud" all anger and attitude gets directed to you

yeah...even when i try to edit myself around my older family members or kids, a few will slip out

its funny tho, i notice that when Im talking to someone and I break the profanity ice, they curse a lot in response...its damn near a bonding experience...ive slipped up at work and it's like the masks come off and everybody relaxes
