i have one friend that i would consider "dumber" than me, don't hang around him much though. Most of my friends are smarter than me, or at least make better life decisions, so i follow suit.

You guys might accuse me of being politically correct here, but smarter/dumber is a relative term.
I have friends that have made several tens of thousands of dollars on Wall Street and working for hedge funds.
and I have friends that take jackhammers and tear up roads at 5am and get wasted at Happy Hour.
And both types of friends blow my mind with some of the things they know about that I don't.

Both types of friends get wasted.
You might be surprised how much drinking goes on in the corporate world.

I only mentioned it among my construction worker friends because they tend to get out of work earlier and drink earlier.
Your average corporate worker in manhattan will be in the office until 5, 6, 7pm or later.

my other friends,
aren't technically smarter than me. i have higher education, high iq, more money............ but if you were ever around - I'd be considered the dumb one. I 'wile out' the most and say the dumbest shyt, do the craziest shyt and go towards mistakes with zero regard for consequences.

Personally, having a caring friend is more valuable to me than someone who can tell me the square root of 35231.9 in less than 10 seconds without using a calculator. Anyway, intelligence is subjective. Some of the most intelligent people I've met didn't have an educational background but could give you an amazing perspective on a multitude of topics.

I'm not that bright so the margin ain't that high
I only hang with people that are hilariously funny. I can't be with unfunny people. I hate having to fake chuckle. Dumb/smart I don't give a shyt. If you're funny, we can kick it

I'm smarter in certain aspects, and I know for a fact certain people I'm around are smarter than me in certain areas. I study them, gain the knowledge, then do as they do.
