I think every family will have people of different political beliefs.

I don't know that I have anyone in my family that are outright MAGA, but there are people in my family that are conservatives -- almost entirely because of some wedge issue like abortion or religion in general. I don't understand how these people can't see the blatant hypocrisy of that stuff on the Right, but what are you gonna do?

During Trump first term like 3-4 older women in my family turned into qanon/maga.
They are black, southern, and churchy.
I think the link in for them was the evangelical thing. Anti gay, anti abortion type, covid conspiracy shyt. Also they old and just started getting online like that. They kept sending dumb chain texts about "my uncle at the pentagon said....". That kind of stuff
they kind of got shamed/clowned by the rest of the family until they woke up. It's been a few years since they bought up Trump so I'm assuming they off that

My uncle is MAGA. And I think my brother straddles the line at times, even though he'll never admit it.

Theyre both law enforcement, though. And from what I seen and understand, a lot of law enforcement and military people really fukk with Trump.

Only 1 in my family that i know of. But shorty suffered trauma so i understand the cognitive dissonance. But it is still a sight to see it in action with them defending sht with maga talking points....
