Do y'all know people who don't lock their car/aprtmnt door?

I've never understood this.

Especially so back when I was in college in Oklahoma....people up there would go to 7-11 to get a drink or something and get outta their car and leave it running with the doors unlocked. I'd be like

Or I knew other people who would just leave their house/apartment unlocked all day. I'd be like, "I'm gonna stop by to get my game from you, when you gonna be home?" They're like, "It's cool bro, just come by whenever, the doors always unlocked."

It would have me like

I know some smaller, rural areas are safer, but still....I lock my apt door just to walk to my car to get something. If it's out of my view, why not take just take 5 secs and twist the key to be safe?

Depends on where I'm at, I wouldn't do it back home but I do it all the time here. If nikkas wanna get in it a lock ain't gone stop em, I had some nikkas bust both my driver side windows just to steal my stereo

You explained it. Some areas are like that. It's not really small, rural areas. Some areas of NOVA(northern va) is like. I don't think we ever locked doors. We still don't. Really no need to. I didn't stop locking my shh up until I went to college in a bigger city surrounded by dirtbag thieves

I grew up in the burbs in one of the safest towns in the country. My car doors were unlocked with no fukks given.

In the country areas of PA they do that shyt all the time. You go to a mall parking lot and ppl have their car windows wide open. My friend's fam leaves their house doors unlocked. I'm like wtf. Some goons could feast out here

When im wit my dads side of the fam we never lock doors cuz all them nikkas be ready to beat/shoot a nikka.

my moms side be havin everything locked down 24/7 tho

funny thing is my dads side typically live in bad areas while my mom say living in safe areas

i lock my shyt anyway so if something happens i KNOW for a fact that a nikka went out of his way to do it

The Indian reservation side of my family doesn't lock shyt, but everyone in the town is kinda poor and related by both blood and marriage (._. ), so folk just walk up in the house hollering greetings without having knocked. You get used to it.

...hell, the the town drunk is the mayor's play cousin from 1940s. -_- I am pretty sure uncle bunny was an orphan, though. Raised by everyone and nobody in particular.

Me...& I attend college in Richmond,VA(the city).My room mates & I apartment door is unlocked all through out the day.I think sometimes we sleep @night with the main door unlocked too.

i always wondered why goons never just took a trip out to the burbs and feast. 95% of them fukkas leave they doors open all the time.
