Do ya'll like albums more when you hear less singles and/or avoid snippets?

Do you think albums sound better when you hear less of them before they drop?

  • Of course. Hearing less ahead of time makes an album better

i'll say yes, i try to avoid them especially them damn snippets which make no sense

i eventually broke down and listened to drake's shyt because i couldnt help myself. aint no tellin with him anyway because they might not even make the album

i like the element of surprise on an album so a few lead singles yes but leaks, no. thats what kinda killed MBDTF for me, i had heard basically the whole album already lol

That's the album that made me think about this. Those GOOD Friday's were great, and I know they tweaked a few songs, but we heard, what, at least half the album ahead of time?

Power
Runaway
Devil In a New Dress
Monster
So Appalled
All of the Lights

At least those...maybe more?

And then if you watched the short film on MTV/BET then you heard everything else too.
