I was never a big fan, never bought any of their music.

But they do have a few joints that bang...Pass the Mic, So Whatcha Want...

Most cats cite Paul's Boutique, but I actually liked some of their work circa the Ill Communication era, where they brought in live instruments. They had a unique style at that time.

Yes, I think Pauls Boutique is sonically one of the most groundbreaking albums of the era and it really set the tone for production in the future. Ad Rock is a severely underrated DJ/Producer and their later combination of rap/rock and then their return to the roots of hip-hop was quite impressive. Also as far as Live performers they are amongst the best to ever do it. I helped coordinate and produce their two dollar concert when I worked for MTV, and it was amazing to watch. If there was a knock on them, they were at best okay rappers.
