My gal talks a lot. She can talk about one topic for a long ass time without me even saying much other than agreeing. Can get boring and unsatisfying. But she be talking about important shyt I guess. Am I a jerk for not listening too hard to her news and problems? Like she will be talking for a whole minute and I'll be like yeah, that's true. Bruh

Won't weigh in on just women, but I will say in my experience a lot of people, esp. relationship wise, aren't so much looking for a conversation, but someone who just listens, almost passively. There's a difference between being a good listener, and just being someone's audience.
